Tropical Storm HERMINE force winds are expected over parts of South Central Texas today

Tropical storm force winds are expected over parts of South Central Texas today. At 4 AM CDT the center of Tropical Storm Hermine was located about 170 miles south of San Antonio, Texas. Storm motion was to the north to northwest at 17 mph. Maximum sustained winds was 50 mph.
A tornado watch is in effect for portions of south central Texas. A flash flood watch is in effect for all of south Central Texas. A tropical storm wind warning is in effect for Frio, Atascosa and Karnes.
