The combat potential of aircraft Yak-130 will be increased
The combat capabilities of aircraft Yak-130 will be increased and after the completion of the program of state joint testing (GSI), said commander-in-chief of Russian Air Force Colonel General Alexander Zelin. After the completion of current flight tests, the YAK-130 will be flight tested in the next phase for the growth of the combat capabilities of aircraft the Air Force chief said.
As per the new equipment projection of Russia for the period until 2020, it is also planned to improve the combat training potential of Yak-130 by new modifications. Series production Yak-130 and its varients are planned for the period after 2015”, said the Russian Air Cheif.
Russians say that the Yak-130 is a dual use aircraft, intended both for the basic and advanced training of the pilots and for the combat use in the limited armed conflicts and the anti-terrorist operations.
