I have been a keen follower of websites related to Indian defence and to Indian interests. Having spent over ten years in this field, I have observed websites rise up but burn out in short span of time. Many of the websites are started by keen individuals who however lose interest after a short while and the websites tend to fade away. One exception to this rule is the Frontier India website by Joseph Chacko. Having followed the growth of this website over the years, I am happy to observe that unlike other sites, this portal is here to stay. Over the years it has established itself as one of the leading sources of news and stories on both indian defence and strategic interests. Time to time I keep coming back to this website to keep myself abreast of all the latest happenings in the Indian defence research and development scenario. This site is one of the few that has the interests of India in its heart!

I wish to thank Mr. Joseph P. Chacko and Frontier India for publishing the story of B-24J #42-73308, the US aircraft which disappeared in Arunachal Pradesh during WW II with eight crewmembers aboard. By publicizing the discovery of this long-missing airplane, it will hopefully lead to a recovery of the crewmember remains found at the site.

My expedition to the site would not have been possible without the kind and friendly assistance of the Indian people and the Abor tribe. I wish to thank them for all that they've done to help make this discovery possible.
