Syzran Military Aviation Institute deploys latest Mi-24 simulator
Syzran Military Aviation Institute has deployed a new aviation simulator PT-24P for Mi-24 helicopters. PT-24P replaces the outdated simulator PTV-241 “Berezin.”
The chief of the military aviation directorate, Major General Viktor Ivanov noted that this is the sole copy of the simulator available and is a unique new generation simulator, which allows a whole new level train aircrew for the army aviation.
The system based on three-dimensional visualization geodetic framework offers maximum realistic image surface, and allows management programme with high accuracy to reproduce virtually all elements of the flight by helicopter Mi-24.
