In The Spotlight wins The Signature Premier Indian Derby 2012

Mumbai: The 28th edition of the Signature Premier Indian Derby, was won by In The Spotlight. The owner, Capt. Jamshed J Appoo took home a prize purse of a Rs.1.56 crores. The winning horse was trained by Padmanabhan and jockey was Martin Dwyer. The Derby weekend saw racing enthusiasts, socialites and noted personalities descend on the race course to witness the thrill of the races as some of the finest thoroughbreds competed against each other.

Laurus Pride, trained by Subhag Singh and jockeyed by TS Jodha finished first for The Antiquity Blue `Fusion Of The Finest’ Cup – Division II Class V; H’cap, Indian Horses rated 1 to 26 , (About) 1200 Metres.

Clinton, trained by P Shroff and jockeyed by B Prakash won the The McDowell’s No.1 Platinum Trophy Class IV; H’cap, Indian Horses

Red Baron trained by karthik G and Jockeyed by CD Hayes won The Dalmore Cup Terms, Maiden Indian Horses, 3 years old only. (About) 1600 Metres.

Dear Henry trained by SS Shah and Jockeyed by SA D’Sousa won The R.N. Kanga Gold Trophy Terms, Indian Horses, 4 years old and over. (About) 1600 Metres.

Victorious March trained by Rehanullah Khan and Jockeyed by A Sandesh won The B.K. Rattonsey Memorial Maiden Multi-Million Terms, Maiden Indian Horses, 3 years old only at the time of starting. (About) 1200 Metres.
