On 13 November at the Dubai Airshow, Saab Avitronics introduced the family of Compact Integrated Defensive Aids Suites (CIDAS).
CIDAS is an advanced state of the art family of systems designed to provide Electronic Warfare self protection for airborne platforms in sophisticated, diverse and dense threat environments.
The Compact Integrated Defensive Aids Suite family includes the CIDAS 100 and CIDAS 300. CIDAS 100 is the small and lightweight variant with only electro-optic sensors and small line replaceable units, particularly suitable for small platforms. The CIDAS 300 is the high-end system which can be configured with the full multi-spectral detection capability for radar.
