Ram Gopal Varma’s second of the series Rakht Craritra is good for one time view. No question of seeing it again. We feel that the rights will be sold to TV soon. In Rakht Charitra 1, Pratap Ravi (Vivek Oberoi) was on a murder spree in revenge. In Rakht Charitra 2, Surya Reddy (Surya), son of Narasimha Reddy, one of the many people killed by Ravi as seen in part one, is seeking vengeance. Ravi has transformed to a politician, who is revered by the public. His enemies dread him. Ravi has become corrupt without values.
Surya has done a commendable job. Its not just a Vivek Oberoi show. Priyamani and Radhika Apte have done a equally wonderful job.
The minus point of the movie is not the story or acting or its make. The problem is that it is very slow moving. The first half an hour is Part one recap.
