Latest Mi-28N helicopter on trials, Russia to induct Ka-50 and Ka-52 helicopters

Russian Army aviation has begun trials of the newest night Mi-28N “Night Hunter”, said Chief of Army aviation, Major General Viktor Ivanov.

As per the plan we will get a few helicopters this year. He said, the Air Force initially planned to get several Ka-50 helicopters, which are built at the aircraft plant in Arsentevo.
The helicopter Mi-28N has been developed taking into account the experience of creating and strikes as the type of helicopters Mi-24 (Mi-35) and other similar helicopters. The helicopter Mi-28N is equipped with a set of integrated avionics, which ensures the flight and navigational tasks at any time in adverse weather. Helicopter armament consists of a cannon, guided and unguided rockets, air-to-ground and air-to-air missiles. It has 2 A42 guns which fire 30 mm ammunition.
