Indian Army Chief on a visit to Japan

Indian Army Chief General J J Singh’s has left for a three day visit to Japan. He will hold talks with Japanese Defence Minister Fumio Kuma and Joint Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Takashi Saito.

General J J Singh will visit Japanese self-defence agencies field and airborne formations. He will also discuss with his Japanese counterpart Gen Ryoichi Oriki on issues like counter-terrorism, joint training of personnel, diasaster management, defence research and development and participation in the UN Peacekeeping mission.
