Indian and South Korean Navies to discuss joint military exercises
South Korean Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jung Ok-keun will be visiting India end of this month to discuss issues, including a possible expansion of the countries’ joint military exercises. In addition South Korea will ask for Indian participation in an international fleet review in Busan in October.

The Defence Minister of Republic of Korea Mr. Kim Jang Soo had come to India may, 2007. It was the first ever visit by any Korean Defence Minister to India. India and Republic of Korea had signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Defence Logistics and Supplies in the year 2005.
