Dr. Jag Pal Singh

Dr. Jagpal Singh (Born 1943) was a Research scholar and a technical Assistant at Univ of Roorkee. In 1979, he joined Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi as Senior Research Assistant and rose to the position of of principal Scientific Officer till his voluntary retirement.

He has published over sixty research papers in Indian and International Journals. Among many of his achievements, he evolved a concept of “Physical Quality of Human Resources” for defining concepts of development in economic, poverty etc. He also evolved a system of “Production Training Services” center for direct and indirect participation of local society in development plans and monitoring.

He has written a book on Structure of governance and Procedure of Elections for preparing grounds for a party-less democracy. His life is currently dedicated to initiating a mass movement in India for ensuring political equality up to the level of a contesting candidate in true national spirit.
