The lead star of the National Award winning film Lahore, Aanaahad is all out to prove himself yet again in one of the most anticipated Hindi play of the year Mohenjodaro. Directed by renowned theatre personality Kulvinder Bakshish, the director of the National Award nominated play Karna back in 2008, Mohenjodaro happens to be a period drama on the war between the Aryans and the Dravidians that inhabited the Indian shores back in 2500 B.C. The play is written by Akashaditya Lama. It is scheduled to be on 18th June 2011 at 8.30p.m.at Iskcon Auditorium, Juhu,Mumbai.

Aanaahad in Hindi play'Mohinjo-Daro'

Mohenjodaro not only recreates the times of the historic era but also conveys message of peace and the victory of good over evil. Talking about the play the jubilant Aanaahad said, “This is really one of the toughest plays ever. Recreating the same era and the lifestyle is not an easy task.”

However while others consider the transition from films to theatre as a deterrent to the career graph, Aanaahad thinks it otherwise. For him, theatre only makes one a better actor. “This play has really made me grow as an actor as it actually accentuated such elements of my acting abilities that I never knew I possessed,” says Aanaahad who seems to be making the most of this stint with theatre. “I have really worked hard over this project and given my 100 per cent to it and so has the rest of the team,” he added.
