Caterpillar option to extend oil drain intervals on diesel 3500 Series standby generator sets
Written by Frontier India Strategic & Defence on January 5, 2009 – 11:06 pm -In its ongoing efforts to make environment change possible, Caterpillar and participating Cat dealers are offering their customers to enroll in a Customer Support Agreements (CSAs) the option to extend oil drain intervals on diesel 3500 Series standby generator sets.
“Given the number of diesel 3500 Series standby generator sets in operation worldwide, extended oil drain intervals would allow Caterpillar, Cat dealers and Caterpillar customers to protect the environment by reducing approximately 2.6 million gallons of waste oil annually,” said Kevin Benz of Electric Power Product Support. “Our research demonstrates such extended drain intervals bolsters the long term value of using Cat generator sets.”
